THE GUARANTEE COMPANY OF NORTH AMERICA

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Pouliot to the position of Vice President, Regional General Manager Central and Atlantic Region responsible for providing leadership and direction in all lines of business reporting to Robert Dempsey, President and Chief Operating Officer. Richard will also continue his duties as the National Vice President of Claims.

We are also pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Halfpenny to the new position of Vice President, Corporate. Steve will undertake various corporate duties and projects for the Company which will address the many changes and challenges which are rapidly occurring in our marketplace.

As always, we are fully committed to delivering all of our products through the broker distribution system. These changes will enhance our delivery of service to our brokers and thereby strengthen our already strong business relationship with our broker partners.
